What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease refers to damage to the gums (commonly known as gums) and tooth supporting tissue inflammation or infection, it is often sticky plaque in the tooth surface caused by bacteria. The early stages of periodontal disease is called gingivitis, the continuous development since then, to a serious stage called periodontitis, can be used at different stages of Dental Instruments the disease according to different surgical approach to treatment, but usually by brushing, flossing and professional cleaning treatment to prevent periodontal diseases.
